Moisture, dust, and particles can compromise oil, hydraulic systems, and tanks, leading to degradation, corrosion, and costly maintenance. By selecting the right breather filter, you not only protect your equipment but also gain insight into what is happening inside your system. Proper breather filtration can extend equipment life, reduce downtime, and save significant costs.
Extended oil and equipment service life, reduced maintenance, and improved operational reliability. Ditech’s offline mobile filtration systems ensure optimal oil and fuel hygiene in demanding industrial environments.
When oil flows through the filter element in hydraulic systems, Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) can occur. This can cause spark discharge within the system, leading to damage to hydraulic components. We offer ESD filters from Filtrec with anti-static protection to prevent spark discharge and maintain effective filtration in critical systems.
Start your system or machine with clean hydraulic oil. Oil supplied in drums does not always meet the required cleanliness class. With our filtration units from Filtrec, you can filter hydraulic oil in a safe and efficient manner. These mobile units offer a capacity of up to 15 liters per minute and include the following features:
The selection and proper use of hydraulic filters are crucial tools in the effort to reduce overall operating costs. We offer complete hydraulic filters and elements, with and without water-absorbing media, from our supplier Filtrec. The filters are available in various sizes and can come with bypass and indicator features. The range of filter elements includes filter housings and purification units within return filters, pressure filters, suction filters, bypass filters, inline and offline filters.
After three years of rigorous development and testing, Filtrec is proud to introduce its groundbreaking technology in filter element construction. This innovative solution, known as AbsoluteBeta, promises significant advancements in performance and efficiency. Our Italian filter manufacturer has meticulously addressed customer requests and feedback to tailor a combination of materials specifically designed for each filter series with fiberglass.
Extend the service life of hydraulic systems through proper oil maintenance. Regular and effective oil filtration is essential to maintain performance and longevity in hydraulic systems, machinery, and industrial plants. The Triple R filter trolley from Ditech provides a mobile and cost effective solution for removing particles, water, and contaminants from hydraulic oil. Replacement intervals depend on operating time, load, environment and cleanliness requirements. In general, filter replacement is recommended based on differential pressure or the supplier’s service interval, not only calendar-based maintenance. For critical systems, the oil cleanliness level should be monitored regularly.
Nominal filtration rating indicates the percentage of particles of a given size that the filter typically removes. Absolute filtration rating describes filtration efficiency measured by the Beta ratio and provides a more precise indication of filter performance. In hydraulic systems with high cleanliness requirements, filters with a documented Beta ratio are recommended.
Beta ratio is a measure of filter efficiency at a specific particle size. A Beta 200 at 10 micron means that 99.5 percent of particles of 10 micron are removed. This is an important parameter when selecting filter elements in systems with ISO cleanliness requirements.
The choice of filter depends on:
System pressureOil volume and viscosityPlacement in the system, such as suction, pressure or returnCleanliness requirementsOperating cycle and load
We always recommend starting with the existing filter designation or machine type for correct cross-reference.
Yes. We supply replacement filters for most well-known hydraulic manufacturers. Provide the original filter number (OEM number) or machine type, and we will find the correct alternative for you.
Insufficient filtration can lead to:
Wear on pumps and valvesReduced efficiencyIncreased heat generationUnplanned downtimeShorter component lifetime
Particle contamination is one of the most common causes of hydraulic system failure.
Yes. By maintaining the correct cleanliness level, component wear is reduced, oil lifetime is extended and the risk of downtime is minimized. This results in lower total operating costs over time.
