Ditech is pleased to announce that the agreement with Buksér and Berging was renewed in 2025. The agreement represents a continuation of a solid and long-term collaboration, where Ditech supports their maritime operations with filters and filtration systems, combined with technical expertise and structured follow-up related to the products supplied.
Trønderbas is a state of the art pelagic vessel built at Westcon Yards in Ølensvåg and owned by the shipping company Ivan Ulsund. With a strong focus on Norwegian quality and future oriented technology, the vessel is designed to combine efficient operations with environmentally responsible solutions and a high level of comfort for the crew.
On MV Rem Inspector, four GreenOil filter systems provide efficient lubrication oil purification with minimal maintenance. With only one annual filter element replacement and documented improvements in oil analysis, the crew is highly satisfied. Additionally, the vessel has full filter monitoring through Ditech’s customer portal – all supplied by a single, complete solution provider.
Ditech has delivered a custom duplex stainless steel filtration system for seawater, designed to protect heat exchangers from particles, debris, and corrosion. The system, with a capacity of 234 m³/h, combines a coarse filter for larger particles and a self-cleaning automatic filter for smaller particles, ensuring optimal water quality, low pressure drop, and long heat exchanger life in demanding seawater conditions.
Modern filtration replaces traditional separators on board the offshore vessel Skandi Flora.In February 2024, Skandi Flora replaced its traditional centrifugal separators for lubrication oil cleaning with GreenOil filtration systems – a more reliable, low-maintenance, and energy-saving solution.

MS Jarle Berg is a modern fishing vessel designed to handle both live fish and fresh fish. The vessel is 50.7 meters long and 12 meters wide, with a capacity of 499 m³ of RSW (Refrigerated Sea Water) tanks. It is tailored to the owner’s preferences and operational profile, including the capability to freeze fish in containers located in the cargo hold.
MS Aksel Johan is a combined Danish seine and crab fishing vessel, recognized for its innovative use of a thermoelectric power system. This system utilizes a large share of the exhaust heat, which is recovered and converted into electrical power on board. The vessel is also equipped with GreenOil filtration systems supplied by Ditech, ensuring clean oil and reduced maintenance costs. Together, these filtration solutions contribute to more sustainable and cost efficient operations and form an important part of the vessel’s environmentally focused profile.
Ditech has entered into a long term supply agreement with Solstad Offshore, covering the delivery of all types of consumable filters for their vessel fleet. The agreement has been effective since July 2023 and runs for a period of three years, with options for extension.
Ditech has signed a contract with Vard for the delivery of filtration systems for diesel, lubricating oil, and hydraulic systems for two new vessels for Rem Offshore. The vessels are based on the Vard 4 19 design and are CSOVs (Construction Service Operation Vessels). They are scheduled for delivery in 2023 and will operate as service vessels for the maintenance of offshore wind farms.
Østensjø Rederi adopted Ditech’s lubricating oil filtration systems in 2021 as a replacement for traditional oil separators. The experience has been entirely positive, with results showing clear savings in both maintenance and sludge handling on board their Platform Supply Vessels.
Sølvtrans is a global leader in the transport of live fish. Following the merger with DESS Aquaculture Shipping, the company is now the world’s largest wellboat operator. Ditech has signed a strategic agreement with the shipowner, making us the exclusive supplier of consumable filters to the entire Sølvtrans fleet. In addition, we will map their complete filter requirements and establish a strong framework for long term cooperation.
Ditech will deliver several GreenOil filtration systems to Vard for its Vard 4 19 design, which will be built for Norwind Offshore. In January, MS Color Viking took the next step by replacing its separators with GreenOil filtration systems supplied by Ditech. As a leading operator within European passenger and cargo traffic, with regular routes to and from Norway, stable operation with an energy efficient and reliable filtration system is essential.
Bluewild is a seafood company based in Ålesund, employing 90 people on shore and at sea. The company owns and operates the freezer trawlers M tr Langenes and FT Ishavet. Towards the end of 2023, Bluewild will take delivery of the innovative new vessel ECOFIVE, built by Westcon Yards and designed by Ulstein. ECOFIVE is a forward looking factory trawler concept with a strong focus on fish welfare and sustainable solutions.
Rem Offshore has awarded contract to Ditech for delivery of GreenOil filters for engine lube oil filtration. Filters to be installed on 10 ships in Rem Offshore fleet and totally replaces the use of lube oil separators onboard.
Ditech has been awarded a contract for the delivery of GreenOil filtration systems to Klaveness Ship Management. The delivery includes a total of 44 filtration systems, to be installed on both main and auxiliary engines across 11 vessels in Klaveness’ Combination Carrier fleet.
We would like to thank Stadyard and the shipowner Selfjordbuen AS for the assignment to deliver our GreenOil filtration systems to their newbuild TBN Meløyfjord. The fishing vessel is designed by Seacon AS and is scheduled for delivery in June 2021.
We are proud to once again deliver a complete filtration package to VARD for newbuild number 928, built for Ta San Shang Marine, a joint venture between Mitsui O.S.K. Lines Ltd. (MOL) and Ta Tong Marine Co., Ltd. (TTM).
Havfisk is building a new, highly advanced trawler at Vard Søviknes. The vessel, named Kongsfjord, features several new technological solutions and will be the first stern trawler with an integrated energy storage system, enabling operation with battery power, diesel mechanical, and diesel electric propulsion.
Ditech will deliver GreenOil water separation filters to four new expedition vessels being built by Vard Søviknes for the French luxury cruise operator Ponant. The water separation filters will be installed on the thrusters, ensuring consistently high oil quality and reliable operation under demanding conditions.

Volstad Maritime has invested in a mobile filter unit from GreenOil. This is the third filter unit of this type ordered for their fleet. Oil analyses carried out after installation show a significant improvement in oil quality following filtration. The GreenOil filter unit is primarily used to remove water and particles from oil in thrusters on board the vessels.
Ditech will deliver GreenOil filtration systems for the purification of engine lubricating oil across the entire Rem Offshore fleet. The systems have been tested over an extended period with consistently excellent results. Based on this performance, the shipowner decided to replace all lubricating oil separators with GreenOil filtration systems.
We are proud to have entered into a long term agreement with the maritime purchasing organization Incentra. Incentra negotiates, establishes, and manages framework agreements on behalf of approximately 950 vessels and offshore installations. The agreement has a duration of three years, with an option for an additional year, and covers the supply of all types of consumable filters. By securing this agreement with Incentra, we further strengthen our position as a leading supplier of consumable filters to the maritime market.
After many years of collaboration, Ditech and ScaleAQ have formalized their partnership through a newly established cooperation agreement covering the delivery of filters and filtration systems. The agreement runs for three years, with an option for an additional two years, giving a total potential duration of up to five years.
Ditech received an order in early March for ten Auto Line VLR self cleaning filtration systems for Frøy ASA. The systems are to be installed on the converted offshore vessel Frøy Challenger, which will operate as a high capacity delousing vessel. The filters are known for high capacity, stable operation, and strong filtration performance, factors that were decisive in Frøy’s choice of both supplier and system for this project.
For the filtration of drinking water on board MS Kristoffer Tronds, a three stage water treatment system from Ditech was selected. The solution ensures reliable and consistent water quality by combining multiple filtration steps designed to remove particles, improve taste and odor, and secure safe potable water for daily use on board.
Sekkingstad AS installed one of our filtration solutions in 2012 to remove fish particles from seawater and debris from slaughter machinery. Nearly ten years later, we returned to the processing plant to evaluate whether the filtration still meets the customer’s expectations. Ditech’s proven filter solution, developed in cooperation with HiFlux, proved to be the right answer for handling waste from the slaughter process. The removed particles are handled as special waste, while the water discharged to the sea is clean.

Effective seawater filtration requires equipment that withstands harsh environments, fluctuating water quality and high particle loads. This vertical, automatic self-cleaning filter in duplex is developed for aquaculture and combines robust materials with a scraper system that removes shells, seaweed and other particles without interrupting operation.
Øst-Riv invited several suppliers with the objective of appointing a single main supplier of consumable filters for its entire machine fleet. The key requirements for the agreement included competitive commercial terms, a user friendly customer portal, and most importantly the ability to map and supply filters for the complete fleet. Øst-Riv operates a fleet of more than 350 machines, including cars, excavators, wheel loaders, trucks, and a wide range of equipment used within road and construction.
Ditech has mapped the entire machine fleet of Kjell Foss AS, including drilling rigs, vehicles, and other equipment. A customer adapted warehouse has been established at their own workshop, regularly replenished and kept up to date to ensure high availability of filters and minimal downtime.
Varhaugs Diesel Elektro AS is an authorized distributor of Ditech and supplies filters to a wide range of industries, including industry, construction, agriculture, automotive, and marine.
We are pleased to welcome Maritim Motor AS as a new distributor at Ditech. Located in Tomrefjorden, Maritim Motor brings extensive experience from the maritime sector and delivers a wide range of services including installation, alignment, newbuilds, service, and maintenance.
Ditech has delivered complete filter solutions for the full range of machines operated by Service Partner Kopstad AS. A customer adapted local stock solution combined with close proximity to Ditech’s main warehouse were key reasons why Ditech was selected as the total supplier of filters for the company’s entire machine fleet.
Hydra Teknikk AS, a mechanical services company based in Alta, has recently joined Ditech as a new distributor. The company delivers a wide range of services and products to the construction industry, industrial sector, and the maritime market. With eight employees, Hydra Teknikk is known for its strong technical expertise and high level of flexibility within mechanical work, certified inspections, service, and maintenance.
In recent years, the industrial sector has placed increasing emphasis on efficient and sustainable production. Ditech delivers everything from standard filters to fully customized filtration systems for all types of liquids, air, and process media, tailored to demanding industrial environments.
In November 2021, Ditech AS entered into a long term supply agreement with Skagerak Kraft and Skagerak Varme with a duration of three years and options for a further two year extension. Under the agreement, Ditech is appointed as the total supplier of operating and ventilation filters for all Skagerak power and heating plants across Norway.
Vestfold Klima og Ventilasjon AS has selected Ditech as its supplier of ventilation filters. This marks a new strategic focus area for Ditech, where digital systems are adapted in close cooperation with the customer. As part of this initiative, Ditech is now scaling inventory, systems, and expertise to support multiple customers within the HVAC sector.
Ditech has delivered filter cages and filter bags to several of Hydro Husnes’ purification plants. Ditech was selected based on a combination of price and quality. Hydro Husnes operates under strict emission requirements set by the Norwegian Environment Agency, with regular measurements and documentation. Effective air purification from the production process is critical, and the requirements for product quality are consequently very high.
Ditech’s automatic self cleaning filters are used to filter process water at the demonstration plant of Silva Green Fuel. An automated filtration process instead of a manual solution reduces maintenance hours, avoids production downtime, and delivers lower operating costs.
Ditech has supplied a UV water treatment certified for food production to a Norwegian food producer as part of a complete water treatment solution. The system is designed for a capacity of 240 m³/hour and helps ensure stable and safe water quality throughout the production process.
Why choose self-cleaning filters in food production? The food industry demands high standards for process water. To ensure consistent quality and uninterrupted operation, Ditech has supplied self-cleaning automatic filters to a Norwegian food producer.
Ditech has supplied a High Flow filter housing with 40″ filter elements with absolute filtration rating to a Norwegian food producer. The solution is designed for two production lines and filters down to 1 micron to protect the UV system before the water continues to the food production process.
At Å Energi, reliable water treatment is a vital part of operations at hydropower plants. Ditech has supplied a self cleaning filter in acid resistant stainless steel 316L that efficiently handles particles from the water intake, reducing the need for manual monitoring and maintenance.
