Protects operator health and safety The fully enclosed system prevents leakage of hazardous products.
Increases production capacity The self cleaning design eliminates the need for filter media replacement, enabling continuous filtration.
Improves product quality Removes oversized particles and contaminants before they reach the production line, protecting downstream equipment.
Reduces waste and operating costs Without consumable filter media, the self cleaning filter reduces both waste handling and labor costs.

Features & Benefits

How does it work?

The self cleaning Russell Eco Filter® is a fully enclosed unit that continuously removes particles from liquids. It contains a removable filter element with apertures sized to retain solid contaminants. The element is cleaned by a wiping system that maintains a consistent filtration rate while directing particles to a discharge area where they are removed without stopping production.

Optimal filtration solution with flexible design

Russell Finex self cleaning filters are developed with flexible design options to suit different production environments and process requirements. The filters are available in three configurations – in line, on line, and horizontal on line – each offering specific advantages in terms of filtration performance, installation, and maintenance.

The in line configuration is developed for easy integration into existing pipework without the need for special adaptations or extensive modifications. This solution requires minimal installation time and can be easily retrofitted into production lines, making it a cost effective choice for industrial filtration.

The on line configuration is based on a unique flow principle that ensures optimal liquid flow and eliminates dead zones. This enables consistent particle separation and continuous operation with high filtration capacity. The design minimizes pressure loss and is ideal for applications requiring uninterrupted production.

For production environments with limited headroom, the horizontal on line design is an optimal solution. This configuration simplifies installation in confined spaces and reduces disassembly and cleaning time. The system is designed to maintain high operational efficiency and easy maintenance access without compromising filtration capacity.

All designs are engineered to withstand operating pressures of up to 15 bar (220 psi), ensuring reliable filtration even under demanding process conditions. Selecting the appropriate configuration depends on production requirements, available space, and desired filtration capacity.
