180FRP Series – Corrosion resistant water filters

The 180 Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic (FRP) Series provides an ideal solution for avoiding corrosion in filtration applications involving brackish water, saltwater, and seawater. Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic, also known as Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP), is a composite material made from polymer reinforced with fine glass fibers, offering excellent strength and corrosion resistance.

All wetted components in the FRP Series self cleaning filters are manufactured from seawater resistant plastics or other highly alloyed materials, ensuring long service life in aggressive environments.

The Forsta FRP Series self cleaning water filters are available with various flange configurations, making them easy to integrate into both new installations and existing piping systems. The filters feature a two stage filtration process, where a coarse strainer removes larger particles and a fine strainer filters the water down to the required micron rating.
