Volstad Maritime has invested in a mobile filter unit from GreenOil. This is the third filter unit of this type ordered for their fleet. Oil analyses carried out after installation show a significant improvement in oil quality following filtration. The GreenOil filter unit is primarily used to remove water and particles from oil in thrusters on board the vessels.

In addition to removing water and particles, the filter unit offers several advantages:
