Liquid Processing
High Temperature Russell
Filter™
Eliminates risk and spillage in high temperature filtration up to 250 °C
High temperature filtration
Safe and efficient filtration of liquids at temperatures up to 250 °C without compromising operator safety or product quality.
The Russell Eco Filter® can be upgraded for continuous, self cleaning filtration of high temperature liquids such as resins, edible oils, and other thermally demanding media up to 250 °C.
The filter is equipped with an offset drive system and high temperature resistant seals, gaskets, and wiper assemblies, ensuring reliable performance and consistent operation under extreme process conditions.
To maintain correct process and product temperature, the filter is also designed with an integrated heating jacket system that keeps the media within the required temperature range. This contributes to stable process performance, optimal product quality, and improved operator safety.

Features & Benefits
How does it work?
The High Temperature Self Cleaning Russell Eco Filter® is a fully enclosed unit that continuously removes contamination from liquids. It contains a removable filter element with precisely sized apertures designed to retain solid particles.
The filter element is cleaned by a wiper system that maintains consistent filtration performance while directing contaminants to a separate discharge zone, allowing removal without interrupting production.
The filter is equipped with an offset drive system, high temperature resistant seals, gaskets, and wiper assemblies, and is suitable for filtering liquids at temperatures up to 250 °C.
When processing products such as chocolate, resins, and oils, heat is often required to keep the material in a liquid state. Industrial high temperature filters allow heated liquids to pass through without causing blockages, while controlling temperature to prevent product degradation or damage.
The result is a more efficient filtration process, reduced product loss due to solidification, and significantly less downtime for cleaning or maintenance.
High temperature filtration is typically used for materials that can only be filtered at elevated temperatures. Common applications include chocolate, various oils including fuel oils and frying oils, fats, resins, inks, dyes, and other media that would normally solidify at ambient temperature.
