FILTREC HYDRAULIC FILTERS
Ditech is the exclusive supplier of Filtrec in Norway, offering a wide range of filter elements, filter housings, filtration systems and accessories.
Selection and Proper Use of Hydraulic Filters
Selecting and using the right hydraulic filters is essential for reducing overall operating costs. We offer complete hydraulic filters and filter elements, with or without water-absorbing media, from our supplier Filtrec.
The filters are available in various sizes and can be supplied with bypass valves and indicators. Our product range includes filter elements, filter housings and filtration systems, including return line filters, pressure filters, suction filters, bypass filters, inline filters and offline filtration systems.
Achieve Optimal Operating Conditions
The purpose of a hydraulic filter is to clean hydraulic oil and prevent dirt, water and other contaminants from entering the hydraulic system. Unwanted particles can cause significant damage to hydraulic components if contamination is not properly controlled.
A well-maintained hydraulic filtration system helps ensure optimal operating conditions and extends the service life of hydraulic components.
Pressure Filters
Inline pressure filters protect the most sensitive components of a hydraulic system, as they are installed on the pressure side of the circuit. To provide maximum protection, these filters must have robust housings and suitable filter elements capable of withstanding different operating pressures.
These filters generally offer higher pressure ratings and filtration capacities than other types of hydraulic filters.
Return Line Filters
Return line filters are typically the last component hydraulic fluid passes through before entering the reservoir. They filter the hydraulic fluid and prevent wear particles and contaminants from internal components and the external environment from entering the tank.
These filters are usually installed on top of the reservoir, either fully or partially submerged. With the appropriate accessories, they can help reduce foam, turbulence and air entrainment in the reservoir, which may otherwise lead to pump cavitation.
Suction Filters
Hydraulic suction filters are installed upstream of the pump inlet, protecting one of the most sensitive components in the hydraulic system.
Suction filters play a critical role in preventing larger particles and contaminants from entering the pump while maintaining a stable and sufficient oil flow throughout the system.
After three years of rigorous development and testing, Filtrec is proud to introduce its groundbreaking technology in filter element construction. This innovative solution, known as AbsoluteBeta, promises significant advancements in performance and efficiency. Our Italian filter manufacturer has meticulously addressed customer requests and feedback to tailor a combination of materials specifically designed for each filter series with fiberglass.
When oil flows through the filter element in hydraulic systems, Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) can occur. This can cause spark discharge within the system, leading to damage to hydraulic components. We offer ESD filters from Filtrec with anti-static protection to prevent spark discharge and maintain effective filtration in critical systems.
Ditech recently had the pleasure of hosting a visit from our Italian supplier and long-term partner, Filtrec, at our offices in Ågotnes and Sandefjord. This visit marked an important event celebrating over 30 years of collaboration.
