MS Jarle Berg was built in 2024 at Larsnes Mek Verksted, a well known shipyard specializing in custom built fishing vessels. The vessel is build number 72 from the yard and follows a proven design concept from previous projects.
Design
The vessel is designed by Skipskompetanse under the design designation SK 3151. The design has been adapted to meet the owner’s specific requirements and incorporates several innovative technologies to ensure efficient and sustainable operation.
MS Jarle Berg is a modern fishing vessel designed to handle both live fish and fresh fish. The vessel is 50.7 meters long and 12 meters wide, with a capacity of 499 m³ of RSW (Refrigerated Sea Water) tanks. It is tailored to the owner’s preferences and operational profile, including the capability to freeze fish in containers located in the cargo hold.
