The filtration systems were delivered in June, and the vessel is expected to enter operation in August 2021. This represents the largest single installation of Auto Line VLR systems on a delousing vessel in Norway. The ten filters provide a combined capacity of 10,000 m³ per hour. In addition to this contract, Ditech has already delivered and secured further contracts for multiple self cleaning filtration systems to the aquaculture industry in 2021.

Ditech received an order in early March for ten Auto Line VLR self cleaning filtration systems for Frøy ASA. The systems are to be installed on the converted offshore vessel Frøy Challenger, which will operate as a high capacity delousing vessel. The filters are known for high capacity, stable operation, and strong filtration performance, factors that were decisive in Frøy’s choice of both supplier and system for this project.
