The Brage platform is Wintershall Dea’s first manned platform in Norway and one of the country’s oldest producing fields. The field was discovered in 1980, production started in 1993, and it has now been in operation for more than 25 years. Maintaining reliable operation on mature assets like Brage requires robust solutions and the ability to adapt to aging equipment and legacy installations.

The fuel filter that needed replacement on the Brage platform was originally installed in the 1990s and is no longer in production. This represented a challenge, as a direct replacement was not available on the market. Ditech took on the task and developed a customized filtration solution specifically adapted to Wintershall Dea’s requirements. The new solution replaces the original filter on the Brage platform and ensures continued reliable operation, compliance with current standards, and improved availability of spare parts going forward.
