What was delivered? For this project, the customer had a self-cleaning seawater filter installed in a process line that protects vacuum compressors. The solution is supplied in 316L stainless steel with a filtration rating of 300 µm, designed for a demanding environment where operational reliability and process stability are essential.
What challenges did the customer have? Previously, the customer used a small manual filter that had to be opened and flushed for cleaning. The new solution replaces this with a fully automatic self-cleaning filter with complete controls. The filter detects when cleaning is required and automatically performs the cleaning and flushing cycle when the particle load increases.
What does this mean for the customer? The result is simpler day-to-day operation, less manual work and fewer interruptions to the system. At the same time, the solution provides improved protection of critical and costly equipment.
