GreenOil filtration systems have been supplied for the propulsion engines and thrusters, and are installed for continuous oil cleaning and maintenance in the vessel’s most critical systems. By removing particles and water, the solutions ensure high and stable oil quality, reduced component wear, and more predictable operating conditions.

This results in lower maintenance costs, reduced waste, and increased uptime—factors that are particularly important for modern vessels with a high degree of electrification and advanced energy systems.

The delivery supports the vessel’s ambition of net-zero emissions. The filtration systems’ compact design, low energy consumption, and high operational reliability make them well suited for projects where both performance and sustainability are key priorities. The delivery to Rem Pioneer marks the 18th vessel in Rem Offshore’s fleet where Ditech has installed GreenOil filtration systems, further strengthening a long-standing collaboration.

Delivery for a Next-Generation Vessel

Ditech has delivered multiple GreenOil filtration systems to Hull 82, Rem Pioneer, at Myklebust Shipyard. The vessel is a new and forward-looking build currently under construction for Rem Offshore. The delivery forms part of an extensive newbuild project with a strong focus on energy-efficient operation, reduced emissions, and high technical performance.

Next-Generation Vessel for Rem Offshore

The newbuild is an Energy Subsea Construction Vessel (ESCV) designed by Skipsteknisk in close collaboration with Rem Offshore and Myklebust Shipyard. The vessel is scheduled for delivery in 2026 and will be the first of its kind capable of performing heavy subsea and offshore wind operations with net-zero emissions. It will be equipped with dual-fuel methanol engines combined with battery packs, fully electric lifting equipment, and a 250-tonne crane capable of regenerating energy back to the batteries. The working deck, exceeding 1,400 m², is also prepared for an offshore gangway.
